Jalila Bouchareb

Jalila is a serial entrepreneur that was born and raised in the US. With Moroccan and Swiss roots, she has spent a considerable amount of time both personally and professionally in Morocco and is particularly passionate about providing undeserved women artisans access to the world market through e-commerce.

Jalila has entrepreneurial experience in the consumer goods and food and beverage industries. She founded Amal Oils in 2008 as a social venture that promotes prosperity in rural villages through the production and marketing of natural beauty products. Jalila also founded Restaurantware, a manufacturer and distributor of eco-conscious disposable tableware for the food and beverage industry.

She pursues her venture capital and entrepreneurial interests as an active startup mentor and investor. Jalila holds a Bachelor of Science from Babson College and recently received her MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
